Jim Parker is the President and Founder of Boss Group International and is a nationally acclaimed business intermediary with 25 years of experience and a suite of prestigious industry designations, including M&AMI, CM&AP, MCBI, and CBI. His insights have not only earned him nearly 50 industry awards but also a reputation as a thought leader, making his webinars and “Let’s Chat with Jim Parker” YouTube channel vital resources for business brokers throughout the United States.

Jim was a former three-time State Chairman of the Business Brokers of Florida (BBF), and is currently 1 of 12 esteemed individuals on the Board of Governors for the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). His speaking engagements span across the country as he continues to influence the industry at large.  Jim was an expert panelist at the Florida Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (GLAGGL) and shared his insights on business sales and SBA loans.

Jim boasts an incredible 90% sale rate for businesses he takes to the market, significantly surpassing industry averages. Known for his personal touch in business brokering, Jim fosters lasting relationships, helping clients transition to new life chapters and serving as a trusted consultant to financial professionals. Carey Sobel is an experienced entrepreneur whose success is built on foundations of marketing prowess, creative problem solving, and business development. He enjoys strategic planning across multiple industries in the form of ownership, investment, and consulting.

Carey is a partner at Boss Group and a business intermediary with 12 years of experience. He has the prestigious industry designations including M&AMI, CM&AP, and CBI. Carey has completed over $100M+ in business transaction volume in the main street and lower-to-middle markets. 

Carey serves as the Chief Acquisition Officer for a family office, COASTAL- specializing in syndicated real estate and venture capital investment opportunities. In early 2024, Carey had a successful exit from his award-winning advertising agency that has worked with brands like Disney, Brightline, L3Harris, Advent Health, Estee Lauder, and Tavistock.   

Recognized by his Alma Mater (University of Central Florida) as a 30 Under 30 recipient as well as the Orlando Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 recipient, Carey currently serves on the UCF Alumni Board and is an active mentor to UCF students. Carey is a native of Philadelphia PA and has passions for (Philadelphia) sports, music, food and travel.  He resides in Orlando with his wife and 3 children.
